Job Description

John Duffy Energy Services is seeking  qualified HVAC installers to install residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning equipment.  Applicants must be skilled in sheetmetal, refrigerant & hydronic & gas piping, and electrical wiring.  Work area includes northern and central NJ.  Overtime and benefits available.

Job Duties:

  • Ability to perform all perform all HVAC replacements and new installs to code
  • Ability to work associated with the HVAC project the client requires
  • Must be capable of troubleshooting, diagnosing and explaining all problems and options to the client
  • Ability to perform calculations necessary for HVAC work as well as calculations necessary for invoicing purposes
  • Must be comfortable asking for payment and collecting money & getting financing paper signed & completed to accounting
  • Must comply with all safety standards and processes
  • Accountable for maintaining cleanliness of truck
  • Accountable for maintaining accurate and quality inventory on truck

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 6-years of hands-on field experience that is industry relevant
  • Must have required certifications
  • Ability to explain technical information to non-technical personnel
  • Must have Above Average/Excellent communication skills
